Pillot House
Houston, Texas
After suffering major damage from two separate floods, the 1868 Pillot House was moved to higher ground in Sam Houston Park. The first phase of renovation involved raising the finished floor of the historic structure approximately ten feet. Next, the building’s full exterior was restored, including the re-construction of an original side porch that was removed prior to 1965 when the building was relocated from 1803 McKinney.
