Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Addition/Renovation
Friendswood, Texas
Both the Church and the Good Shepherd School had outgrown the campus in Friendswood. In addition, the school sought to expand to include all elementary grades. The Master Plan built out the church’s 4.7-acre site in multiple phases to increase the facilities by 35,400 square feet. Phase I expanded the worship building by 5,200 square feet and included a new chancel, chapel, choir rehearsal space, narthex and support spaces. The worship space was turned 180 degrees to face a new plaza between the church and parish buildings. Future phases will include a new parish hall and additional classrooms.
Completed: 2002
