Memorial Drive
Presbyterian Church
Houston, Texas
Anticipating future growth, the church sought additional space and wanted to update the structure to meet with safety codes and provide access for the disabled. The Master Plan included 80,000 square feet of renovations plus 80,000 square feet of additions, all of which would continue the Frank Lloyd Wright “Prairie Style” of the original church design. Phase I included a new 220-seat chapel, 400-seat fellowship hall, kitchen, library and classrooms. It also designed a new central plant for the entire campus. Phase II expanded the existing sanctuary, youth center, music suite and administrative center.
